My ancestors on my dads side come from Staff,
and the rowley name comes from Wolverhampton
area. My great grandfather was John Henry
Rowley who moved from staff to Co Durham
in the North East of England where he died in
1939. I think he was a coalminer. In 1881 he is either in Staffs as a son or married.
He might be from your family but I am just looking for possible connections. Any help is appreciated. 1881 uk census on cd from LDS
