Does anyone have proof of his death date? After looking around it appears everyone lists his naturalization date of 30 Aug 1761 as his death. Can't be: On 13 Mar 1765 he is listed as a trustee (I think) with George Strow in a "Grant to trustees of German Lutherans of Leb. tp as in H296c" then there is a list of names, including John Casper Stoever and wife Mary Caterine, about land for the German Lutherans. I don't understand the legal description. 19 June 1769 Misc. Book, 1768-1772, p. 129 AT AN ORPHAN'S COURT held at Lancaster for the County of Lancaster on the Nineteenth day of June Anno Domini 1769 Before Adam Simon Kuhn, James Bickham and Edward Shippen Esquires Justices of the same Court. THE COURT APPOINTS Anastasius Uhler of Lebanon Township Guardian over the Person and Estate of Daniel Hening a Minor son of Jacob Hening late of Bethel Township deceased he being under the age of fourteen Years during his Minority. In "New World Immigrants" Vol II, edited by Michael Tepper, on pg 7: "Anastasius Uhler, born in the Palatinate about 1710, settled in Lancaster county and died at Lebanon. He was constable of Lebanon township in 1769. It's hard to do all this stuff when you're dead; and although he had a grandson named after him, he'd be too young for all these. Hope someone knows more than I do. Thanks Notify Administrator about this message?
