Searching for info on Jacob Uhl, born Jan 1820 in Germany. The 1850 census lists Wurttemburg. He immigrated to US abt. 1835. He married Phebe Ann Wyachler (not sure of last name). They had 12 children, 11 of whom were Jospeh(1852), John(1854), Henry(1856), Christina(1857), Mary(1858), Michael(1861), Jacob(1862), George(1864), Frank(1866), Anna(1868) and Ellen(1870). The first 2 children were born in Indiana and the rest were born in Ohio. They lived in Stonelick Township Ohio. Jacob served in the Civil War with the 2nd Ohio Infantry, Co.I between 1861-1864. I can only trace Jacob back to the 1860 census. The last name was spelled Ohall in 1860. Any help before that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!!
