IF you can find version 3.0 via e-bay (for instance), you can certainly install it (make a sqz backup of your things in 2.0 first) and then open and save your sqz files with the new version. With 2.0, you can however download updates as far as 2.8, but that doesn't help much with the WinXP problem. Please check these sites for help:

Otherwise, you might consider migrating to TMG (The Master Genealogist), where all of your UFT data can easily and directly be transferred without need of gedcom. Check out http://whollygenes.com/
