Thank you for responding, Robert. I am computer illiterate and can only assume from paperwork that my speed is 400MHz.

Am not sure what you mean by 'the file button at the bottom'.
If I have the program open to an Individual's Record, is that sufficient to start the backup or will only that one record be backed up?

I was sent an upgrade to my original UFT, had trouble finding the original after downloading, and as I recall gave the 'new' project a new name (all under the telephone guidance of someone more knowledgeable than I).

What began to puzzle me about all this is the backup file that was set up for me to merely click on to run. It kept indicating 147 bytes each time I backed up. That prompted me to try to follow the Knowledge Base and Tech Support instructions.
