It would be a disaster. UFT won't work without it.
If you want to upload a web page without sources, delete the sources.htm file from the place it is gerated in - C:\UFT\html\ is the default - or as someone else suggested replace that file with one which suggestes that source info is available on written request.
For those who only want to eliminate the source file size problem (very long to load) I have a free program that will fragment the sources.htm file into pieces so it will not be so inhibiting to the browsing genealogist. Look on my web site to see it in use:
I have fragmented the sources file into seven segments. I have also fragmented the index file, but the two operations are independent. Both of these suggestions have been offered to the UFT people in the distant past.
