As pointed out by Paul Burchfield, one's browser is the one that decides the color. How it does it, i believe, is by looking the page up in its history files - if it finds it it knows it was read. History files are discarded when they get too large. This depends on how much space you have allocated to them in your browser setup. And of course if you erase your cache it forgets everything! Dick
