Margaret- First, you should go to http://uftree.com/ which was the former website supporting this program and work down through the menu of Tech Support & FAQ to download the ULTIMATE FAMILY TREE 2.8 MAINTENANCE RELEASE. This will update your UFT 2.1 to UFT 2.8, the latest version available to you. Later versions do exist, but all versions have been withdrawn from the marketplace. Most users of any genealogy program agree that it is better to have ALL your relatives in one database project. Many users will suggest that you switch to another program because there is no longer "developer" support for UFT. But if UFT 2.1 is working on your current computer and you have entered 500 names, you can disregard that option for the foreseeable future. You should be able to access the Help files in PDF format o from your Windows menu, if you installed Help originally from the CD. Reinstallation of the program is OK, but refer to the Knowledge base (above on this forum) before doing so. Good luck, John Notify Administrator about this message?
