UFT 3.x is the only version that has the version number on the box. If you must use UFT get at least version 3.0 or 3.1. The 2.0 through 2.9 versions did not. The "Platinum" version is one of the 2.x versions enhanced with other database and/or programs. If you get version 3.0 you can upgrade to 3.1 for free with a download from the UFT web page. You might want to consider using the program "The Master Genealogist" (TMG) for your family genealogy project. Many former UFT users are using TMG now.
