This does sound like a "Rootsfont" problem. See the Knowledge Base above, or in numerous other responses on this board for a method to reduce the total number of fonts below 250. KEEP Rootsfont.
An explanation could be that in direct printing from UFT, the report tries to print super-script numbers using the "offset" characters in the Roots Font, but cannot get the operating system to find that particular font.
