Donald, We both know that if you make a 5.5 GEDCOM file you will lost the data that is in the Detail fields. So if that doesn't matter you could make a GEDCOM file and get GenViewer which has a way that another person can open the GEDCOM with GenViewer without owning the program.
Also there is TMG's FTST (Family Tree Super Tools) that you could have them get and it will import the UFT data for a read only program.
