In Windows 98 ExplorerViewFolder OptionsCustom Settings, it is possible to choose Single Click or Double Click. This may also affect Internet Explorer.
It may or may not have any effect on starting two instances of UFT when clicking on a Desktop shortcut icon. FYI, the double click "problem" in UFT 3.0 may have been induced by the inclusion of the Foxpro "Fast Start" patch inside the UFT exe file.
Also FYI (as I think I read once a couple of years ago) the basic Foxpro 2.6 program contains a timing routine that counts down towards zero before launching something or other. This resulted in a divide by zero error when computer cpu's passed the 166mhz mark and the countdown actually got to zero. The "fix" (as I once thought I understood it) was to substitute a timing routine that counted up instead of down, and therefore eliminated the possibility of a divide error.
