Hi All
In Jul message 5792 by Thersa Greene Reed suggests cleanup of sources with the following procedure "I click on Reports/Lists/Sources. From the field list I select; Sources, Record Number, Abbreviation 1, Evidence Use and How Used. I print this list etc". I am trying to do this and have a problem. The first time I tried I ended up having to reboot. The next time I just used the "Sources" field clicked OK and got a error message "not a table/DBF" with 2 choices "Cancell or Ignore" I chose ignore and the report was produced. The same thing happened when I added(one at a time)Record Number, Abbrev 1, and Evidence Used. It was when I added How Used, I got "Not a table/DBF" I ignored again, then a 2nd box with "variable 'GOTTIT' not found" same choces I chose cancell, the curser went into busy mode (hourglass) the 'Ultimate Family Tree" heading started flashing on and off, I could move the curser but couldn't pull down any menus and finally had to do a Ctrl-Alt-Delete and exit UFT. When I tried to open UFT again was told I maybe would have to restart and of course I did have to. After rebooting I tried again this time just used 1 field the How Used field ending up once again with the two error boxes and doing a restart. It seems the How Used field causes the second box to appear.
Any one got a cure or know what causing the error boxes? Sorry this is so long but thought I better give as much of the details as possible.
