Attaching proof to each event component is a more precise way of logging evidence, but it has two distinct disadvantages: (1) the user cannot see on the primary individual's screen that evidence it attached, i.e. no. "X", and (2) evidence attached to the individual event components does not export using GEDCOM 5.5. If you want share data with others via a GEDCOM file, log the proof as overall event evidence.
