Ultimate Family Tree still works. As long as you aren't in a hurry to change to anything, you can still use it. That's the bottom line. However, if you want to go further ... Myrnice is right. TMG (The Master Genealogist) is the only software that we know of where you can directly transfer your UFT information (no GEDCOM needed) via their GENBRIDGE feature of the program. If you're serious about genealogy and want to go further and be able to document things better, etc., TMG is your best bet. If you're happy with what you're using and don't necessarily want to transfer, UFT will work ... at least until computers start getting more sophisticated.
