Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Robert

The only program that I know of where you can transfer your data without much loss is The Master Genealogist (TMG). You might want to check out http://www.whollygenes.com/html/uft2tmg.htm to see a comparison of the GEDCOM process used by most programs versus the Genbridge process used by TMG.

You can see a special offer on their web site http://www.whollygenes.com/

Transfering to Family Tree Maker via GEDCOM will result in a loss of much backup data.
