That's exactly what I did, John. Rootsweb is much more stable, and free. I am trying desperately to get a redirecting index.htm file onto this UFTree site so people will know that there's a new location. So far, no luck. I'd rather do this, though, than completely erase the site from UFTree, since many people have old bookmarks and this site is still in many search engines.
By the way, if anyone else wants to change their web pages like this after UFT generates them, here's how:
Select and group just one generation of people in your database and create an instant web page for this list, using the surname to file under that you had used before. Then, manually edit the index.htm file using Notepad or an HMTL editor and put in a link to your new site. Then, you have to open the TGZ file that was created and add back in the edited index.htm file. You can use WinZip to modify the TGZ file. Then use the Upload Web Page feature in UFT to upload the modified web page with the new link you added.
