Entering a Marriage without Knowing Gender
Posted by: Jack Braun Date: September 06, 2001 at 11:13:33

I have UFT 3.0. I have tried to enter marriage dates without knowing the gender of the person involved but UFT doesn't permit it. Any ideas? I have some church records from the 1860's and I know that some of the siblings of my great-grandfather were married, though I cannot read the handwriting well enough to figure out the name, much less whether the individual was male or female. There is a date under the marriage column though there is no entry was to what the spouse's name might have been. I'd like to enter the information that I have and get the first name and gender when I know it. Any ideas? Thanks.
