FYI, as configured by default, the Baptism event in TMG is in what we call the "Birth Group" meaning that it is intended as an estimate of birth when birth info does not exist.If you don't want it to behave that way, then you can create an event type that is not classified in the "Birth Group" and use that instead.The BaptismLDS event, for instance, is not used as an estimate of birth because it is in the "Other Group."
You can also modify the abbreviation field for the Baptism event type so that it uses something other than "b." if you prefer.
