Combining Sources
Posted by: Jim Neal Date: July 31, 2001 at 10:51:29

In the Proof window there is an "Added Text" feature where you can add text directly to a source Footnote. I created a new source that does not require additional text. I then used the "Combine Sources" feature to combine old sources (which included "Added Text") with the new source. The old sources were deleted.

After successfully combining the sources, I ran the Project Utility and checked "Rebuild Final Footnotes." Now, the problem is the "Added Text" is still there. Is there a way to get rid of this text without editing each individual record associated with this source?

Thanks,
Jim Neal
