The Master Genealogist (TMG) by the company, Wolley Genes, is the only program that will
import all of the Roots III data without corruption or loss. This is done their their
"GenBridge" subprogram.
I can attest it works. TMG will even import backups of several programs, including Roots III.
Buy TMG, present version 4.0d. Install it on a computer. Spend three or more months learning this program. Look in your geographic area for a support group. Import Roots III or Roots III backup via TMG GenBridge.
Capabilities will be far greater than what was possible in Roots III.
You can find and buy various versions of UFT.
Unfortunately you cannot tell which version you have. Version 3. is the only version where it appears on the box.
But UFT, like TMG, must be learned. It is a much more complex program that Roots III. So why learn UFT when you can learn TMG somewhat easier? TMG has excellent tech support as good as we used to get for Roots III. UFT has NO tech support any more.
