I'm not sure why your disks won't work. Windows ME reads those files fine, as far as I know. Have you looked at the disks via Windows Explorer to make sure they haven't been erased or damaged? If you locate a downloadable upgrade, (and I'm not sure there is one for version 2.0), it is programmed to look for certain files in your computer linked to UFT. I might suggest (and I can't believe I'm saying this) that if you want to stick with UFT, you could go to an office supply store that sells software and see if you can find UFT. Chances are you will find version 2.8 or 3.0, which will get you going, anyway. They should be on SALE if they even have them since the product has been discontinued (meaning it is not going to be upgraded past version 3.10). Otherwise, I would suggest your going to TMG and hoping that the disks could then be used to transfer your data directly into that. You might need to contact the TMG board for help on this ... http://genforum.genealogy.com/tmg/
Otherwise, perhaps someone else has some ideas for you.
