How to handle census info in UFT
Posted by: Terry Strasser Date: November 20, 1999 at 17:03:21

Hello,all:

I'm just starting to get serious about using UFT 3.0, and I'd like some advice/opinions on how to handle census data. One of the things that appealed to me about this program and its predecessors is the extensive capability for documenting information. But it seems to me that using freeform footnotes for condensing census info might be preferable to breaking down each family member's "census role" for multiple census years--not to mention the hundreds of missing GEDCOM tags I'd have to deal with. May I ask what more experienced people have done?

Thanks,
Terry
