Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The Roots Users Group of Portland is probably the last group to have some of its members using Roots III, Anne. I'm not exactly sure what you're meaning with translating it when necessary; but I think you mean "transfer." I believe I did that for awhile after I started working in UFTree, but finally stuck with UFT and took the R3 off. The only thing I can think of to get to your Wickham.edb (by the way, that's awfully close to my maiden name), is to make sure that it is entered twice (if I remember correctly, in Roots3 the path mentioned the surname twice).

We do have some R3 articles on our Members site, but none that touches on this, I don't think.
