Family Journal Stopped Working

After three years of producing flawless Family Journals, my version 2.7 UFT will now hang up before it completes compiling the Individuals. Specificaly, it stops at person 176 out of a total of 992 Individuals. I have reinstalled the software, and have run the "Check", "Pack" and "Reindex" features to no avail. Since, it had operated flawlessly before, I didn't think an upgrade would help (and it didn't) but I upgraded to 2.8 anyway---and as I expected that didn't help.

Believe me, I would sure be grateful for any insight into this problem.
