ANONYMOUS LETTER WRITER - YOURDAD
Posted by: Michael V. McCarthy Date: April 02, 2001 at 15:58:40

FOR Paul Birchfield,
I have just received a response, dated Apr 2, 2001, to a Message I posted on this board on Jan 25, 2000.
The message simply said "you are a goof". It was addressed from "yourdad@hotmail.com" and was unsigned.
I take offence at this message for a number of reasons.
1. "my dad" has been deceased since 1985 and I take unbrage at anyone claiming to be him.
2. I also detest anyone who sends anonymous messages without having the guts to sign their own name insead of cowardly hiding behind a psuedonym. These people do nothing for the quality of discussion on this Forum and should be screened out by the system.
3. I take offence, on behalf of all "inteligent" users of this forum, at being subjected to such trivial personal defamation by this coward who refuses to state his or her own name.
To: yourdad@hotmail.com either give your real name or get off this Forum and allow real people to carry on our discussions in good faith and trust for those genuine participants.
Leave us alone! Go and play your disruptive silly, childish games elsewhere.
