I'm afraid I'm not going to be very encouraging here, as I can't help you with any of this. But for the future, don't depend on a GedCom file. Do a sqz backup of ALL your projects, libraries, etc., and save it. Do this regularly (every week if you do lots of work on your project) and save to disk, CD or whatever capability you have. When a computer crashes, it crashes and it's good to have a full backup. GedCom, unfortunately, does not contain all of the data we put into UFTree.
