Your message was read many times and I eventually applied the lesson to my early file to no avail.
I also read the help file which explains fully. This means that at least UFT is aware of the issue.
Below you will see Chuck Wolfram suggests there is a version problem, 2.8 being OK. I will not go back to that just to correct this problem.
I happily use 3.1 with my copy of TMG still in it's box. I have it loaded on my computer but my 2 year learning curve for UFT is much too valuable.
Incidentally, I have always used the Alphanumeric date system with the month shortened to the first three letters. This makes sense to the French, English and Americans.
