Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

About a year ago I subscribed to GenealogyLibrary.com anticipating that they would load the entire 1850 census images.

They had quite a few states and finally added 4 more. Then they stopped adding the images and started adding the census images to Ancestry.com and charging extra to get them. Granted they have not added any 1850 census to Ancestry.com yet but they advertise that they are planning to have all of the images there.

What I paid for was the ability to see the images from the 1850 Florida Census and this is one state they have not added to GenealogyLibrary.com.

I would suggest that with their track record, do not subscribe to the census images at Ancestry.com until after they have loaded the images you want to see or you may be wasting your money.
