1) When you collect an index, be sure that the starting page number is correct for the report you're collecting the index for. Also, when collecting the index, if the chapter title for the report is the same as the chapter title for an index that has already been collected, the index for this report will be appended to the previous index. If the page numbers are the same in both reports, you may get duplicate page numbers. Reset the index by choosing the Reset Index button in the Print window and recollect the index for the report.
2) To review and correct the index before printing, choose Edit on the Index Report window. See the manual or online help for information on editing the index. Another option is to print the report to a Rich Text Format file and use your word processor to print the report. The index must be generated in the word processor so that any changes made to the report in the word processor will be reflected in the index.
