Are you new to genealogical research? The reports that UFT creates are mostly standard type genealogical reports, the same kind of reports we laborously created by hand fifty and more years ago.
Choose an individual who is not an original ancestor nor in the most recent generation. Pick someone sort of in the middle of your family history.
Print out several reports as samples. Read the manual pages that relate to the report you are currently printing. You may want to make notes on each prited report as to which boxes you checked. File these sample reports in a folder or 3 ring binder.
I wouldn't fuss about printing to file at this time as you want to be able see your reports on paper.
You will want to make these reports:
Family Group Report, Family Journal Reports (several types), Individual Summary Report, Ancestor Report, Descendant Reports (both indented and text) and an End Notes Report,
Other Reports of lesser importance can wait until next week. :>)
Front Reports, Title Page, Credits, TOC,
Direct Drop Descendant, Box Chart, Fan Chart,
Relationship List, various Summary Reports, and so on.
