GEDCOM Problem 2000
Posted by: Steven Rutherford Date: December 22, 2000 at 18:24:10

When I save as a GEDCOM file and import it into another program the order of children is always wrong. I have all birth dates and the sort dates are the same as each birth date. When I import it into another program the birth order is listed in order by their record numbers. How do I fix it so that the birth order is by birth dates and not record numbers in UFT? When viewing and working in UFT everything shows correctly but gets mixed up somewhere when creating the GEDCOM file. Each program I have imported to has an option to change the order of birth to show by dates and not record numbers. This occurs on all other programs I have used. I cannot find an option in UFT when saving as a GEDCOM file to list children and other events by dates. Can you help?

Thanks.
