You said he couldn't restore because youe didn't know the name of the file. If it was Windows backup, then you should be able to look at the various directory names and find the UFT directory and restore those.

I think that with the DOS backup you (or your wife) had to know exactly how you created the backup in order to reverse the command to restore the files. But before we can give further help, he has to give us the name of the file(s) on the disk.

I did touch base with Melissa and she said she had never heard of a foxw.exe file. Hmmm ... .
