Rich,

The decision to stop development of Ultimate Family Tree was announced in May. That same month at the National Genealogical Society conference, Genealogy.com's CEO, Rob Armstrong spoke with Ultimate Family Tree users at the ROOTS USers Group of Arlington, VA meeting. They transcribed both his talk and the question and answer session that followed. You can find tat transcription at:
http://www.rootsusers.org/armpres.htm

Read through the talk he gave an then the Q&A's and the question you raise was asked and answered.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Paul Burchfield, Genealogy.com Technical Support
