Most UFT users are talking about switching to TMG because, IMHO, that TMG will transfer all of their data. And many have thousands of records to transfer. But in your case you do have a small database. I would d/l the 30 day copy of Legacy at http://www.legacyFamilyTree.com/ to see if you can use it. You would have to GEDCOM your data into it. If you have used the UFT detail fields these do not GEDCOM so would have to be hand transfered.
Remember the deal to UFT users, to buy TMG, expires at the end of the year. Legacy also has a discount for UFT users
