Printing Family Journal using RTF????

Since I have a couple hundred images of family on the database, I would like to print the entire family journal, with pictures. I have tried repeatedly, with manual in hand to figure out how to do this. Obviously I'm missing something because it seems no outside processor is getting the file. Maybe someone can give me step by step direcitons. I have set up Ultimate Family Tree Preferences to show RTF and letter size. When I click on External Support in this window, I have set up Editor RTF Options to Automatically Launch Editor, Ultimate Family Tree Editor, and the correct path for this. This is where I'm totally lost. Do I set up the right side of the External Support window to the file I wish to send the compiled Journal to? If I have to set this to something like WORD, can someone tell me how? Even though it says TYPE OF FILE, there is not a selection for Word. It comes up with Microsoft Excel V2.0. All I want to do is print this journal, including the images, and as you can see I'm at a total loss. Any specific directions would be most appreciated. Step by step would be better since this will be the initial time ever doing this. Thank you.
