Robert,
Never having used the "third product", I don't know its strengths and weaknesses, but I would guess that it would be easier to merge it with FTM. UFT, on the other hand, has a different way of organizing data, and I would be leary of having anyone decide which features aren't very important, because they don't fit easily. However, if they can figure a way to keep the power and flexibility of UFT's events, I would like to move to it.

Maybe they could get some ideas from TMG, which seems to be able to handle both event based and linkage based "foreign" databases.
