Steven, On the Ind screen you have date and location fields. But if you click on the number on the left side of the date field you will get the event record. Here you will see the free style date field, standard date field, and the sort date field. It is hard to beleve you have entered 50,000 persons without knowing about these fields.

Persons are listed, if no sort birth date, in the order entered. Persons with birth dates are listed after those without sort dates. If there is more than one marriage and only one date is entered and it is the first marriage then the second will be first in order because it does not have a date. Sort dates are filled in, with a est. date to keep this order.
