Many, Many, thanks to all that helped me. I checked and found out I had 3.10 UFT.

My dear friend and cousin saw my post on Genforun and help me.

I did everything she suggested which I had been doing over and over again. But I just started with one generation at a time and I found out that I had in one of the generations in the Misc. flag where they gave an Alias 1, Alias 2. I put Ambrose Albert /Myers/ (my father had changed his name from Ambrose Michael Smith to Ambrose Albert Myers.) These back slashes probably were not intended to be put in the Misc. flags.

As I went further in each generation I found that I had used this bracket } in some of the text. This caused a stop. I think that this bracket cannot be used in the RTF file. I think it can be used in a title but I'm not sure.

I had spent so much time calling the Tech. on the phone and they could not help me. I knew it had to be sonething simple.

Vi Abraham
