UFT Saving report in Rich Text Format

I had the same problem a while ago. I was trying to print out all the ancestors' FGS and it froze. What I had to do was to narrow down the record that was causing the crash. I would get the individual that I wanted to start with, get the pedigree screen, choose the mother, and try to print out those FGS. If it worked, I would then choose the father as the starting individual, and then choose one of the parents. Thus you would have the process of elimination with you crashing and rebooting. A pain in the neck!!!!

It turned out that it was in a biographical text fields that I had cut and pasted from a web page. I had to chose all of the text, cut it from the text, choose ok, then open word pad, do a paste special as unformatted text, check for any unusual text codes, and then delete those, choose select all , copy the text, go back to UFT, choose the bio field, hit "control A", delete, then paste as unformatted text. Apparently there was some kind of wierd formatting codes that you could not see.

William
