What version of UFT are you using? Are you restoring to a different drive on the new computer from where the data was on the old computer? There were some problems that had to be overcome with some of the earlier versions. One that I remember, although I can't remember the exact details as to why, is that you need to have a CD in your CD drive even though it's not used. It somehow was related to the different drives problem.
