Thane,

If you already have a zip drive, tape drive, (or enough formatted floppies and the time), you can copy from the old computer, all of the UFT program and all related files (projects etc.)to your zip, tape, or multile floppies. Then copy from the zip, tape, or floppies onto the new computer.

Be sure you know where everything is on the old computer so you don't miss anything. For example, my .pro files are in the Roots IV subdirectory because I used the then Roots IV projects when I installed UFT.

Be sure, when you import all the UFT files that you import them to the same directories they were in on the old computer.

I regularly use this method to update my laptop UFT from my desktop and vice versa.

The Virginia RUG website probably still has an article on their website about 'Anatomy of a database' (or a similar title). You might find it wise to read that article. http://www.rootsusers.org/
