It simply makes a copy of all the material that can be seen by a browser. It has some variables, like the max size of a component (default about 150K)and whether to extend the search to other linked sites, etc. I gether that if you can see it on your browser it will be captured. I don't know about download links like GEDCOM, though. Try it - it's free.
