I agree with the messages from other UFT users. I have used Roots since 1980 Roots/M for the Heathkit H-89. I find the decision to terminate a good product with a loyal following, foolish, especially when no decent conversion path is provided to the continued product. I ordered the FTM product and found NOT ONE REFERENCE TO CONVERTING FROM UFT. Only a description of importing from GEDCOM.

Zenith pulled the same stunt as Mattel and destroyed a loyal Heathkit user base by "following the market". Zenith no longer has a retail PC business.

May Mattel and FTM suffer the same fate. As one who specializes in companies that end up in Bankruptcy, I see this kind of idiotic bahavior often.
