Paul, I see two things (regarding UFT data transfer to TMG) in the latest RUG newsletter that concern me. Maybe you can answer further.
1.) "The 'Free Note' type of evidence is imported and linked appropriately, but conversions to footnotes are problematical at present, so it would be a good idea to review those you have and convert them to one of the more structured standard source formats." I probably have a hundred free notes (along with 3 thousand structured sources). What is the problem with conversion and should I really try to locate them all (search option?) and convert them now? I have a database of 10,000+ and have been unable to figure out how to search for all individuals who have free notes attached. Any ideas on how to do that?
2.) "The source type 'free-form text' is imported OK and shows OK in footnotes as long as the appropriate import option is selected." What IS the appropriate import option that I should select?
Thanks. Win Wood
