I guess that you know all of the information about an individual before you start entering the data.

If you think a bit about what you are saying you would realize that the events are entered in numeric order. Event 1 first, event 2 next etc.

Almost always you get the birth event when the person is entered. You can then enter the death event as event number 2. Any other events that you enter, except burial, probate etc. would normally be between these events.

How do you propose to put these other events in order except by some external process such as a date.
