TMG & UFT 3.1

Thanks for the info. I followed the link you provided for the Wholly Genes site and followed their link back to GenForum for the "kiss off" announcement re: UFT from the CEO. Also took advantage of their free 2 month sub. to

I then made what seems to have been a mistake -- updrading to version 3.10. I IMMEDIATE ran into problems with "vanishing data".

For instance, individual records suddently had "Place missing from library" message for various field. When I try to update these, the entire event seems to disappear, laving a blank space. If I click on the blank entry -- say "school attendance" -- there MAY be some data in the windows but any corrections I make do not "stick". In fact, I wind up with strange stuff like ALL of the school entries referring to the same event! I also get "new" data -- e.g. "Albany, NY" would suddenly become "Albany, NY, etc."!!

Have others noticed these sorts of bugs with 3.1?! Are there any solutions or does one just have to reinstall 3.0 and forget about 3.1?

By the way, has anyone every gotten an answer on why UFT seems to need 33 files for each project created vs. the 3 Basefiles of Roots3?
