What is TeamFTW?

The team you refer to is TeamFTW which is a group of volunteers who answer questions. We say this at the top of every message board where you will see "Find out about the volunteer members of TeamFTW" with links to find out more about them. Also, the graphic that appears after their names when they post take you to the same page with details.

All of them had been answering questions on their own prior to the formation of TeamFTW. Creating it allowed us to recognize them and to let those who had questions know that these people were there to help. It's similar to what Microsoft does with their MVP program.
