UFT family journal vs. final product

I've printed out a family journal based on the oldest paternal relative I have. I don't like some parts of it. Is there a difference between the format of a family journal and the format of the final product with index, table of content, etc. (Obviously I know that a family journal doesn't include the index, table of contents, etc.) What I'm particularly interested in the details like birth sites, cause of death, and so forth.
