Dick,
I've made one significant suggestion to Bob V. for a feature of UFT that is not quite in the latest version of TMG: a variety of predefined roles for each event, with standard text sentence templates (and the ability for users to add more roles & sentences). The generic "witness" role to cover all non-principal roles isn't good enough, even if you can customize them for particular individuals.
There seems to be a move in that direction with the version that is about to be released, so I'll want to see how that works, but I suspect it still isn't what UFT has.
I have sent Bob V. a description of how I use this feature, about the time he left for NGS, and he likely had a lot on his plate when he got back to the office. However, I'd like to see his response.
For the moment, we are still getting our new data into our UFT database the way we want it, so I'm not eager to jump to a new product. But I am interested in hearing about the shortcomings that other UFT users find in TMG.

Pierce Reid
